GENERAL DATA PROTECTION REGULATION

1. Scope of our Privacy Policy

This privacy policy covers ProDJ’s websites: https://prodj.pt/en/ and in conjunction with our policy of cookies and our terms and conditions, it intends to explain how we collect, why we collect and with whom we eventually share and / or manage your personal data. ProDJ and its data protection manager are committed to the privacy of users and the protection and security of personal data of each one. The data will not be used for any purposes other than those here specified. ProDJ has the right to update or modify its privacy policy at any time in order to adapt it to legislative changes. This document was prepared with the General Data Protection Regulation in mind.

ProDJ or its data protection manager collects, manages and/or processes only the personal data directly provided by the user, whether being in the public domain or transmitted to him by the third parties with whom the user has contracted.

Data collected by us, either by phone or through our sites, is only for the processing of user requests and will never be used for any other processing that has not previously been made explicit. This data is also used to fulfill legal rights or obligations such as issuing and sending invoices, bank reconciliations, integrating online sales with billing, managing expenses through image, among others not specifically mentioned, but directly related to them. ProDJ saves and protects your data on international servers that follow high standards of security and privacy. To remove your data simply send and email or contact us via social media.

 

6. Retention period

ProDJ retains the data of all customers for a period that depends on the purpose for which they were collected and processed. For example, in the case of purchase of equipment or purchase of a training course, your data will have to be saved, by legal imposition, for a period of 10 years, so that we can have a billing history and for communication purposes with taxing authority. This period shall be the minimum possible time as long as no legal obligations are contravened.

ProDJ may use cookies on its websites, enabling it to better understand the user, how to search for information and what to search for. The goal is to improve Internet browsing, thus offering a personalized experience during the visit of certain pages. However, this possibility can be declined by the user.
